Special Swimmers

DBBSS are the founders, in association with the Cambridge kids with Disability Swimming Club we currently utilise two venues in Cambridge.

From using the unique techniques developed by Amanda Walker you can transfer joy by empowering those who care for and those who are being cared for. We can create the perfect environment for children with disabilities to blossom.

At DBBSS we teach you how to handle your children/ babies in a relaxed manner encouraging them to experience their own buoyancy and balance in the water.

The use of buoyancy aids are removed so that these children learn to swim and not fear going under. Fun is top on our agenda so though songs and games we bring the group together.

Most of our children enjoy diving and are on their way to being good swimmers. Come and join in the fun if your child is between 12wks to18yrs old we will invite you to join in the fun and we will always receive you with open arms.
